Leave The Music To Us... We'll Leave The Dancing To You!

Welcome to ADAM'S DJ SERVICE
Serving Seattle, Tacoma, the Greater Puget Sound Area & Pacific Northwest

Mike Abella - 1000 Words

For nearly 15 years, I've been privileged enough to DJ many different venues. I began my career as a DJ performing at college parties and weddings in the mid to late nineties.

After working for some local DJ companies, I decided that I wanted to provide a DJ service far beyond what is normally offered, for a better VALUE, so I decided to strike out on my own and start my own business: Adam's DJ Service! Since July of 2007, this is how I’ve made my full-time income to help feed my family and pay the bills. Now, in 2012, I’ve helped launch NW Event Lighting, a company specializing in all sorts of lighting to provide a “wow” factor at events.

Even though I can be seen utilizing my DJ skills at holiday parties, class reunions, corporate events, birthdays and anniversaries, weddings hold a special place in my heart.

The first reason weddings hold a special place in my heart is that I was recently married (nearly 10 years and counting!), so I know how much time and effort goes into planning the perfect day (I’ve learned a lot over the years and I continue to learn!). I will always go out of my way to make sure that your dream wedding comes true!

I do this by providing information to help you plan and customize the music and flow of events for your wedding; I also cover all bases and make sure all steps are taken to ensure that your business transaction with us goes smoothly from beginning to end. Nothing makes me happier than to see a bride and groom, with their guests, enjoying their favorite music on that BIG DAY! And now that I do this full time, my clients use me as a resource to plan their entire event, not just help with music at their event. We're more than just music, as we take pride in helping our clients with all aspects of their events. If we can't do it in house, I can refer the professionals you need for your event through my relationships within NACE, ABC, ISES, MPI, The Wedding Network USA or the local chamber we belong to! (Lakewood)

And since I’ve helped create so much demand for the style, philosophy and process I put into place, I had to hire some good people to help me out. Our team consists of the following: Our Vice-President Travis Weber and Operations Manager Lars Foster-Jorgensen are here full-time helping me out and are pretty awesome DJs, too! Sean, Stephen and Eric are our in-house team of DJs and do a great job. And we also sub-out events to guys like Kryspin, Anthony, Levi and Eddie – and trust them to take good care of you! Keep in mind, our team of DJs who represent Adam’s DJ Service are hand-picked and represent everything I stand for. If one of them is chosen for your event, it’s based on style, location and more importantly, availability. Unlike most other DJ companies, we give you the opportunity to meet who could potentially be your DJ prior to signing our contract or paying us any money. Keep in mind, now that my hobby turned side business turned career has blown up, we book events up to two years in advance! So it’s never too early to meet with us and see how we can help make your event a success!

Whether your event is in a back yard, on a boat, at the top of the Space Needle or at a fancy hotel, we can accommodate you. Whether your event has 20 people (our smallest event) or 2,400 people (our largest event to date), we will always do our best for you.

Our uniquley professional and entertaining style has earned us many referrals and recommendations from wedding planners, venues, caterers, photographers, many other vendors and many happy clients.

All I ask is for an opportunity to be of service to you and help make that special event a memory you can cherish for the rest of your days.

Thank you for taking the time to look through our website!
